공과대학에서는 2024년 하반기 동안 영향력있는 대규모 국책사업을 유치하였거나 국제 학술지에 우수한 논문을 게재한 연구자를 대상으로 2020년부터 스타(STAR) 연구자상 및 우수 연구자상"을 시상하고 있다.

우리 학부에서는 김지훈, 김호경, 노유정, 안석영, 윤병조, 전충환, 김민철 교수가 2024년 하반기 ‘우수 연구자상’을 수상하였다.

김지훈 교수는 NATURE MATERIALS JCR 2023 (Top 1.12%)​ 게재한 논문 “Damage-free dry transfer method using stress engineering for high-performance flexible two-and three-dimensional electronics”을 주저자로 발표하였고 이를 통해 우수한 연구 성과를 인정받아 이 상을 수상하였다.

김호경 교수는 Impact Factor가 10 이상인 Small Structures (IF 13.9) Journal에 게재한 논문 “Flexible wood-based X-ray scintillator film using lead-free Cs3Cu2I5 perovskite nanoparticles”을 통해 우수한 연구 성과를 인정받아 이 상을 수상하였다.

노유정 교수는 Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (IF=7.5, 2.76% Multidisciplinary 분야)에 게재된 논문 “Graph Neural Networks for Anomaly Detection and Diagnosis in Hydrogen Extraction Systems”을 통해 우수한 연구 성과를 인정받아 이 상을 수상하였다.

안석영 교수는 연구결과를 JCR 5%  이내 (4.71%) 저널에 게재한 논문 “Numerical analysis and Schlieren visualization of gas flow dynamics insidethe plasma arc cut kerf with curved cutting fronts”을 통해 우수한 연구 성과를 인정받아 이 상을 수상하였다.

윤병조 교수는 기계공학 분야 JCR 5% 저널 『INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS IN HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER』에 게재한 논문 “​Development of filmwise condensation model for steam–air mixture on vertical plates and tubes under free convection”​을 통해 우수한 연구 성과를 인정받아 이 상을 수상하였다.

전충환 교수는 Thermodynamic 분야 JCR 3.85%에 해당하는 Energy에 게재한 논문 “​Effect of high-pressure pyrolysis on syngas and char structure of petroleum coke”​를 통해 우수한 성과를 인정받아 이 상을 수상하였다.

김민철 교수는 IF 10.8에 해당하는 Journal of Materials Chemistry A에 게재한 논문 “​Additive engineered SnO2-based electron transport layer for the robust and high-efficiency large-scale perovskite solar cell”​를 통해 우수한 성과를 인정받아 이 상을 수상하였다.​
