7. ÃÊ     ·Ï : Multipurpose synchrotron construction project (Korea-4GSR) has been carried out in Korea. The technical design for the Korea-4GSR had been completed and the project will be completed in the end of 2029. The Korea-4GSR has 28 super periodic hybrid 7 bend achromat cells and in order to realize the worldwide competitive photon beam in 10~30 keV energy range with 800-m circumference storage ring, its beam parameters are 4-GeV beam energy, 400-mA beam current, and 62-pm beam emittance considering well-proven technology. The procurement process for accelerator components has already begun, and the first deliveries are expected as early as 2025. The beamline systems are currently in the final design phase, with procurement expected to commence soon.

In this talk, the Korea-4GSR project will be overviewed and shows the current status. And then it would show the forward plan of the project.
